Hi, I’m Lisa Joy, the owner of MiniBizBook, and I help small businesses bring clarity and order to their finances through dependable, detail-oriented bookkeeping services.

My journey into bookkeeping began after spending ten wonderful years as a stay-at-home mom. Following a life-changing transition, I found myself re-entering the workforce—and discovered a passion for bookkeeping along the way. Over the past 10+ years, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience and decided to deepen my knowledge by earning my Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Liberty University. I’m also working toward additional certifications as I continue my educational journey, with plans to pursue a Bachelor’s or even a Master’s in the future.

I truly enjoy the learning process and the challenge that comes with solving complex financial puzzles. There’s nothing more satisfying to me than clean, accurate books and helping business owners feel confident and in control of their finances.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me traveling—whether it’s visiting family across the globe, camping under the stars, chasing waterfalls, or trying new foods and exploring different cultures.
